Send photos before finalizing the art
Wide photos of the full wall, window, storefront, or display area give the production team context. Include nearby doors, trim, fixtures, furniture, and anything that affects where a graphic can sit. A tape measure in one photo can also help establish scale when a site visit is not possible.
Confirm the final dimensions and placement
Decide what the finished graphic needs to align with: a window edge, a countertop, a logo, a product display, or an architectural line. Approve the dimensions and placement before production begins. This is especially important for large graphics, multi-panel installs, and pieces that must line up across several surfaces.
Plan access around the space
Confirm when the space can be accessed, where materials can be unloaded, and whether any building approvals or access instructions are needed. For retail, hospitality, or event locations, coordinate around operating hours and any other vendors using the space.
Leave time for a final walkthrough
Build in time after installation to check alignment, edges, readability, and the way the piece appears from the guest’s point of view. A short final walkthrough catches small details before the space opens or the event begins.
