What is announced
PRINTING United Alliance says the programme includes more than 70 education sessions and hundreds of anticipated product launches. These are advance organiser statements: the show has not happened yet, and a promised launch is not the same as a tested production result.
Our studio take
The useful question is what happens to the whole job. When evaluating a demo, look at file preparation, setup, drying or curing, finishing, inspection and packing alongside print speed. A faster press does not automatically shorten the delivery timeline.
Bring a representative file and ask to see small type, solid colour, cut registration and a real finishing step. A sample that survives the complete process tells you more than a perfect sheet selected for display. These are evaluation questions, not an announcement of new equipment or services at Chromatic.
